No longer will they wonder of the child become king, the savior become captor. Their time has changed from the childhood of glimmering laughter filled with the juice of the pear tree. It now runs the red of passion, the fruit of battle and roughened hearts. No longer the playmates of the boy they must call king but the victims of a playthings curse. But never will they forget of the pear tree, the lost softness of eye and soul.
